I heard that being awkward is makruh (can someone confirm/deny this?) also if a person is naturally socially awkward as they may have a lot of anxiety in social situations is that still makruh?
Walaykum assalam
It is best not to be awkward in social conditions ( But you also have to have limitations too!). It is important to learn how to be straight forward with people if they are crossing your borderlines ( It is important to be kind too). It is hard to fight anxiety, but sometimes, you need to push it away especially when you are working with other people

I am not sure what the islamic stance is but all actions are judged by intentions. Perhaps social awkwardness and hayaa overlap? Social awkwardness may be your weakness in certain situations but in other situations it may be your strength.
As much as i hate to say this but we all need to interact and communicate with humans including humans with bad caharacters. Sometimes life gives you a choice. Other times you are forced to. So work on yourself and your caharacter. Keep practicing. You will get better insha Allah.
May Allah swt protect you from harm Ameen
Pain and hardships allow you to grow spiritually Alhamdulilah so smile when a so called calamity befalls upon you.
Alhamdulilah Allah swt is the greatest.
Social awkwardness is not makruh as it cannot be helped. It is the result of an unheathy life so the things that lead up to it will be sinful and makruh
Watching pornography, being a recluse, loner, being lazy etc etc leads to social awkwardness
Muslims should live healthy lives, psychologically and physically
