Questions about Temptations, Protection and Judgment

    Report bad ads?

    Assalamu alaikum,

Today I don't feel really good, because I feel some how that my faith is been little bit shaken.

The reason I'm saying this, is because before I used to have guts to go through Internet and search for whatever I'm intrested in related to Islam.

One of the desires I have, is to know about Preislamic Era, because I want to know whether the Arab pagans used pray like us or not. Because, I'm starting to have doubts about Muslim prayers. And that is mainly because, those mother----er non-Muslims who really love to mislead Muslims at the best because of their freak ideas and beliefs which they have about Islam.

Personally, I'm really tired of going into Internet so that I will not have to deal with anti Islamic websites. One of the worst Islamic websites is wikiislam. And I have seen that it just want to justify certain sins such as homosexuality and adultery, because the authors of that website believes that punishing a homosexual by death is not correct and they try to justify homosexuality just to make it be permissible practice. Personally when I have been through that article, I started to even get extremely angry, because that website focuses only on justifying immoralities like homosexuality and adultery. And I totally disagree with their ideologies, because personally, I see that homosexuality is definitely immoral practice and ver disgusting by nature it's self!!! And I always believed that homosexuality is a major sin and when I entered in the religion of Islam, I found that that the capital punishment for homosexuality is death penalty and this type of punishment is very fruity, because it makes one realise that homosexuality is the most disgusting practice and by God, if I see a couple of gays in public, I would start vomiting, because I simply cannot stand watching a pornographic gay scene, that gay porno scene, really makes me sick and it kills my apetite of eating food!! I simply cannot believe my eyes what I'm seeing. I wonder, how can non-muslims justify something very disgusting practice. Some non-Muslims are perverted and are obsessed with pervertion, how sick to meet such perverted websites.

But still, no matter how much it tries to justify adultery and homosexuality, still will not reshape my faith. Because, I'm pretty conviced that Islam prohibits Homosexuality and Adultery. Because, this is what I want to believe about the message of Islam. Because, I believe that Islam came to prohibit immoralities and not to justify immoralities.

However, I have been wondering for sometime why that website wikiislam makes such perverted and nasty articles and I have found a section in their websites which they have put forth heavy questions for us to answer their questions. And I have understood that the authors of that website, don't understand much about the laws of Islam and about capital punishments and about the treatment of women and so on. And after seeing their questions, I started to look at it with different eyes, because I was trying to understand why it does make such disgusting articles and why is so anti islamic.

And gladly I have found an email Muhammad Syed have posted in his website and I was thinking that I could answer his questions with hope that he may stop criticizing Islam and judge Islam by what terrorists are doing.

And the reason I have been through that website, is so that I can learn how to be open minded and not to get angry for whatever people are saying, because I have been taught by my mom who is a Christian and she told me that people have right to say and write about anything they like about anything. And so I asked her if I also can write and say about Islam as I like? She told me yes. So, based on what, she told me, I have the right to go to websites which are based on my like such as (Answering-Christianity.com) and (Call-to-Monotheism.com) and by the way, I have seen that these websites are Islamoc websites because it does not make negative articles and it spreads only positive and goodness about Islam.

    So my questions are:

    1. What is the ruling on answering the questions which anti islamic websites and people are posting about Islam? Is it ok if I'm planning of answering all the questions which wikiislam have posted so that I can clarify it's misconceptions about Islam?

    2. Is there a dua ir wazifa that will definitely guarantee protection from being misleaded by any non-Muslim including by those who hate Islam so bad??

    3. Is there a wazifa or dua that I can recite or practice so that I can have protection from Allah so that my faith will not be shaked by any non-Muslim?

    4. Is there a wazifa or dua that will make me remain steadfast in Islam?

    Thank you.

P.S. The main purpose of this thread, is because I have seen that I started to become weak Muslim, and I need somwthing that will protect me from apostasy. This is the sin which I'm worried off. And right now,I don't have the guts anymore to go to internet for search things about Islam, mainly because of those anti-islamic websites and hence I have decided to download on my phone Ahadith, Islamic Q&A websites and so forth, just so that I will not enter anymore to Internet. And this practically, frustrates me as if it gives me the impression that I don't know how to deal with such websites and now I see myself as a coward while before I used to have guts to navigate on internet if I have some questions about Islam. And I feel personally jealous that some Muslims have guts to navigate on internet and find what they want to look for, but personally, I don't have anymore the guts to do this, because of insecurity which I have. And I wish to have the guts to look for sonething on internet which I'm intrested to know off just like some Muslims in this forum have.

Is it ok if I plan how to give Dawah to Anti-Islamic websites if my intention is to make their authors to stop writting negative articles in righteous manner? Because, I believe that there is a way of how to turn the Anti-Islamic websites into Islamic websites without doing something bad those websites such hacking or highjacking and so on. Because, I want to be a just petson and nor unjust person and I believe that I kbow how to heal them up from hatred and negativitate which they have towards Islam.

It's the worst website i've ever seen. So much wrong with their ideas about islam. So yes! You can answer the questions only if you have the full knowledge regarding the topic.

Last verse of surah baqarah is very powerful with this regards. Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Suppor-ter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people." (Qur'an 2:286)

This is a powerful dua as well.
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.(3:8)
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.(3:147)

Yes, you can give dawah to them. As you already know they are wrong, so it's your duty to convey the message to them. But do so only if you are sure that you won't be affected by their back answers and remarks. Keep in mind that your only duty is to convey the message and not care about the outcome. You will get the reward of it Insha Allah. If you are sure it won't affect your faith, then go ahead. And be in the company of practicing friends. Don't let anyone affect your imaan.Stay away from sins as much as possible.

Re: Questions about Temptations, Protection and Judgment

Brother, if you don’t want doubt in your faith do not go to wiki Islam. They are deviant “Muslims” who are intentionally trying to defame Islam from the inside out by posing as a “Islamic” website. The best advice I can give you is to Avoid that site as much possible and try to find credible Islamic sources (more than just the internet).

Re: Questions about Temptations, Protection and Judgment

Wa Alaikum Assalam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
The reason I'm saying this, is because before I used to have guts to go through Internet and search for whatever I'm intrested in related to Islam.
If you have no option other than internet to learn about Islam then use only the websites, which are authentic. Please don't use Google or Bing to search for answers to your questions. You can directly ask your questions in this forum, and we will try our best to provide you answers with authentic sources.
Because, I'm starting to have doubts about Muslim prayers
There are several reason for this and it is easy to find those reasons in your own response. First is seeking knowledge from un-authentic resources. Second, to have arguments and discussions with non-Muslims. I understand that your intention is to give Dawah but there are certain principles. Your own faith should be strong enough before you think to have these discussions with non-Muslims. Your example is of a seedling which needs its nutrients first to grow up into a large tree and once you grow up into a tree, you can share your fruits without any fear because your roots are established and nothing can shake your faith.
The main purpose of this thread, is because I have seen that I started to become weak Muslim, and I need somwthing that will protect me from apostasy. This is the sin which I'm worried off
That's exactly why I advise you to focus on yourself first and seek knowledge before thinking to give Dawah online.
I would not advise you for the reasons mentioned above.
The basic rule for someone who has less knowledge about Islam is to share your limited knowledge if someone is truly interested in Islam. Provide them resources such as translation of Quran, website addresses which answer most FAQ's about islam and that's all. Don't go and preach to those who hate Islam, these people will waste your time and put doubts in your heart. Read Suran 80: 5-10 & try to reflect on the message in those verses.

    And Allah knows the best!
