Thought this was so beautiful, and it can be so difficult to do, but when you completely and utterly trust Allah SWT that whatever happens in life is part of His perfect plan, it is the best feeling in the world.
When Allah (swt) decrees that a door in your life is to be opened, no matter how hard you try to close it, no matter how far you run away from it, it will remain open until you walk through it.
When Allah (swt) decrees that a door is to be closed, no matter how many times you knock on that door, try to break it down, or cry on your knees in front of it, begging it to open again, it will never be opened....
Grieve in front of the closed door if you must. Stand there for a time and look at it. Memorize its shapes, its lines, and its indentations. Hold your hands over your heart and press down to calm its quickened, pained rhythm.
Then know—know beyond the shadow of a doubt, know in your heart of hearts—that when you trust Allah and walk forward, He will open a more beautiful door for you. You will walk through it and you will praise Him for having closed the past door you loved so much.
He is al-Fattah, the Opener. May the doors He opens for us always lead us back to Him."
I really wish I could believe this, but I am living proof it's not true and being patient doesn't get you anywhere.
I wish I had been more pro-active from the start instead of being patient. It's only made me more ill along with the rest of the family!
You must have faith in something to believe in it. When we wholeheartedly believe in Allah's words then most definitely there will be peace and contentment in the heart. May Allah give you the understanding and always guide you on to the right path ameen.
Its not too late to be pro-active. You can make changes right now. That doesnt mean you are not patient. All the best.
I am in constant difficulty tbh. It is hard, but you gotta keep holding tight. And remember, the DOOR of REPENTANCE is always OPEN. The door of GUIDANCE is open always, right?
Correct me if I am wrong, but my relative said once that, the door of repentance, and guidance, is always open. I.e. Allah SWT always waits for you to turn to Him SWT.
So 2 doors are ALWAYS open:
The door of repentance.
The door of guidance.
The door of repentance is ALWAYS open, but it is us that shuts the door of guidance, right? I mean, if you say "Oh Allah SWT, guide me!"
Then obv, Allah SWT WILL open the door of Guidance. Right? my question is, is it always open?
there is a difference between patience and procrastination.
what do you mean you are a living proof ? what situation are you in ?
The brother has the problem with noisy neighbours continuously banging doors everyday,
you can read his thread somewhere here. See in the Advices section.
It's so true that the more faith and trust you have in Allah (SWT) the more at peace you will be.Momins belief in Allahs mercy leads to mercy so keep invoking Allah (SWT) for His countless mercy and you shall be among blessed ones.Ameen
