    If you mean salafis, then yes, they''re the part of ahlul sunnah wa al jamat.

    Re: Wahabbism and sunnism

    Wahabism = Salafism = Sunni'ism

    As most people know, wahabism is a subset of salafism. However, you maybe be shocked to realize that in essence, salafism and sunni'ism are the same.

    Definition of salafi: Someone who want to go back to the times of salafs when it comes to their conduct in islam (in other words, implement the sunnah, like they used to do).
    Definition of Sunni: Someone who stives to implement the sunnah as much as possible.

    In current times the word salafi seems to have taken the word "pious" as its definition.

    Re: Wahabbism and sunnism

    Assalamu alaykum,

    We have numerous threads about this - here are a few links:

    [Misconception Response] The 'Wahhabi' myth & the Salafi path
    Are Wahhabis Sunnis? Chechnya Conference and Saudi anger…
    Wahabi, Ahli-Sunnah etc.

    I will close this thread to avoid repeating previous discussions In-sha-Allah.
