Until now I've only focused on avoiding hellfire and avoiding the displeasure of Allah, but i haven't focused on what I can possibly earn in the hereafter as a reward for being a righteous pious muslim.

Nobody knows what Paradise looks like. Only Allah knows best
The description of Paradise is mentioned in Quran and Sunnah. We should not go too extreme in trying to find out. Because this is considered as unseen and known to Allah only.
Just remind yourself that looking at Face of Allah is greater than Paradise.
