    Is Allah everywhere?

This belief is widespread among Muslims. They believe that Allah is everywhere. This is not islamic belief, and it does not fit His Majesty. As they believe in so, then this means that Allah is in flithy places, Allah forbid. Rather Allah is free from space and time. He is not inside His creations. He is above the Throne in way that befits His majesty, there are many proofs from Quran and Sunnah that refutes this belief. The Quranic verses are:

    إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ

Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne (Surah Al-A’raf 54)

Narrated Anas:"When this Ayah was revealed about Zainab bint Jahsh: 'So when Zaid had completed his aim with her, We gave her to you in marriage (33:37)' - he said: "She used to boast to the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ): 'Your families married you (to him) while Allah married me (to him) from above the Seven Heavens.'" (Tirmidhi 3213)

    Abu Hurairah narrated that:
Fatimah came to the Prophet (ﷺ), asking him for a servant. So he (ﷺ) said to her: “Say: ‘O Allah, Lord of the Seven Heavens and the Lord of the Magnificent Throne, our Lord, and the Lord of everything, Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injil, and the Quran, Splitter of the seed-grain and the date-stone, I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything that You are holding by the forelock, You are the First, for there is nothing above You, and You are the Last, for there is nothing after you. And you are az-Zahir, for there is nothing above you. And you are Al-Batin, for there is nothing below You. (Tirmidhi 3481)

Abdullah bin 'Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:"The merciful are shown mercy by Ar-Rahman. Be merciful on the earth, and you will be shown mercy from Who is above the heavens. The womb is named after Ar-Rahman, so whoever connects it, Allah connects him, and whoever severs it, Allah severs him." (Tirmidhi 1924)

There is also another proof from the event of Miraj, Prophet peace be upon him spoke to Allah, and also felt His presence. If Allah was everywhere, Prophet peace be upon him would have not need to ascend to the heavens. Thus, this belief should not be followed. We all should try to learn Towhead from the Quran and Sunnah, so that we do not fall into errors and end up following beliefs that does not fit Allah’s majesty.

    Re: Is Allah everywhere1

Aoa. You are taking things too literally.. Allah al mighty is above and beyond our understanding..He is everywhere does not mean is literally present.it means He is watching us.
We are always taught that He is closer than our jugular vein. Does it mean literally? No, obviously not!

When we talk about Allah being present everywhere it means that He sees everything.. nothing is hidden from Him. Because you can only hide things from someone if they are not present there. Thieves dont plunder a house if everyone is awake and present..they make their move when everyone is either asleep or away.. but does that mean that just bcuz Allah isnt PHYSICALLY there, He wont see the thieves stealing?

This is the result of our limited understanding. because as per your argument, the hadith that reads, Allah descends down to the lowest heaven at the last third of the night, wouldnt it be negated. Because at all times there is night in one part of the world or the other.. how will the time element adjust the hadeeth then?

Please keep an open mind when talking about Allah .He is not human like us, He is al Hay, Al Qayum,
