just a random thread.

i was just wonderin where do y'all shop for ur islamic clothes? (ie. for ur hijaabs, jilbaabs, abayas... jubbas, galabiyyas etc)..

India!!!!!!!!All my things come from there(surat).........n couple occasionally from pakistan...........sometimes frm London..........but most of its from India....

same here! i liv here so i get all my stuff 4rm here but yeah i do also get a few things frm pak!!!!!!!!! :):)

oh i so didnt know that.. i always thought jubba was the term used for the guys version of the jilbab.

cool stuff.. i get my casual jilbaab tailor made.. and ones for special occasion from saudi.. or a store called arabian nitez.

aw sister arabian nights is a great shop for jilbabs , and very expensive! lol
i like going to zam zam but not for clothes, i get mine tailor made just the way i like it. because other ones are so big and long that i trip up. i occasionaly get some as gifts from saudi. :wub: :)

yer they can b very expensive esp if you get alot of work done on them.. but they do do jilbaabs for reasonable prices too thou.. like just before eid i brought this really nice one for just 45 pounds :)

I get my jubbas from Saudi, they got the best range there (well duh)

But sometimes I get some clothes from Zamzam in East London, Green street.

But usually from Tooting as well, a shop called Lebas and some other ones

errmmm well i sat there with my sis makin it.........n then bro fi_sabillilah animated it for me.........u could request one from bro Ahmed in the request a sig thread........inshallah he'll make one way better........

back on topic it doesnt matter where one shops and buying things from saudi is nothing more special then buying the same garment from london(or asda for bro Aamir;D ) thats been transported over.......so lets hope we are not priding over where we shop compared to others and remember the purpose of the clothes is to conceal our body......no other reason.......

well for jilbabs i usually get them from saudi arabia...when am der...usually buy loads.....dey are soo beautiful...

well am located in london......buy it from local shops...like al-aman or arabian nites...

bought one jilbab from arabian nites....ya Allah....way way way to expensive...robery in daylight man....thats how one of my friends view arabian nite as.....

mainly are from saudi arabia....der bare cheap wallahi compared arabian nites...

now alhamdulilah mycousin aunt making moi nice jilbabs....like in diff colours....e.g black, navy, grey,and so on.....

i buy hijabs from everywhere.....

other stuff as cardigan or wrap cardigns,buy it from oxford street such as H and M, new look, topshop......

yeah daffar thoub are comfy to wear...not for me...for me bro...usually get it from saudi arabia...like loads...like i sed its bare cheap der compared to zam zam.....
