Salaam aleykum brothers and sisters

There are many new muslims and non muslims here who ask feq questions. We end up confusing them by giving them many answers. Most of us arent that knowledgable therefore we mislead the questioner. Could we have a new section for questions from new muslims and non-muslims which are moderated? Like they have in gawaher:

It is counselling as such brother. Check the link i provided at gawaher. They have separate counselling section and separate section for questions for new muslims and a section for non-muslims for if they have a question. Those sections should be moderated. There is a brother online who is getting confused by hundred different answers to his questions.

Sister, this is where this rule comes into effect.

Avoid asking questions that require a Scholar or Shaykh, as there is no one on the board qualified to answer your questions. Please use other knowledgeable means such as a scholar, Imam or knowledgeable person in your area or provide sources.

Hence that is when Mods/Admins take action.

Sister Halima..thanks for posting the rule. Although i thought this rules applied to deep questions. But iread posts like if you dont force your wife to wear hijab, you will be punished. or Music is haraam. Some people said covering the face is fard..But then another set of people come along to say 'music isnt haraam or covering face isnt fard' etc etc.

So either the members should be told not to ask questions and if they do, close the thread, or have a new section for questions where members could still reply but will be moderated as not to give confusing answer to new members. But if it the mods are happy with the way things are, it is fine inshallah.

Anyhow Allah knows best.
