salaam,

i dont know if this has anything to do with his reasons, but i thought he cannot be exposed due to the amounts of surgery(his face melts in direct sunlight) to the sun and therefore decided to wear it. normally he has an umbrella.

Allah knows best.

Pop star Michael Jackson was spotted out shopping in Bahrain wearing traditional women's attire.

He was out with his three children when he was seen wearing the veil, abaya and gloves typically worn by conservative Bahraini women.

The children's faces were shrouded by dark scarves.

Jackson has settled in the Persian Gulf since quitting his Neverland ranch in Los Angeles after his acquittal on child molestation charges.

His father has said it is unlikely he will return to the US to live.

Scared children

In November Jackson was caught up in controversy when he entered a ladies toilet in the United Arab Emirates. His publicist said it had simply been a mistake and he had quickly exited.

On his trip to a shopping mall in Bahrain's capital Manama he was escorted out via a back door in an attempt to avoid photographers.

After an assistant asked photographers to stand back because they were scaring the children, the whole party left in a white sports utility vehicle.

Since the end of his trial he has continued to be dogged by legal problems.

A former advisor is suing him for $64m (£37m), alleging breach of contract and fraud, while a vet is also taking legal action to retrieve an alleged unpaid bill of $91,602 (£51,729).

I think you misread what i wrote.

PEople are claiming that he is not muslim. I was advising that they be becareful, because we don't know if that's true or not. No where did i say because he is muslim don't backbite him. ANd I also didn't say anywhere that it's okay to backbite nonmuslims.Clear?:?

Lol, don't be silly sis :p

He has this skin condition or something - sort of like photosensitivity. If what you heard his true, his face would have melted a long time ago when he stepped under the hot glow of those stage lights at his concerts :p

and if not, then may Allah subhanahu wata'ala guide him,

he is still a creation of Allah subhanahu wata'ala and its dangerous to make fun, specifically if he IS a muslim now, wa'allahu 'Alam,

Alhumdillah if he has truely accepted islam.....but is bahrain in need of masjids? or are they in need of financial help? Y not build a mosque in Sudan, India, or someplace that really needs funding for a mosque. I hope is not a gimmick and if so i hope muslims wont be bought that easily....

I really hope he is sincere in his actions and may Allah guide him. ameen

For the first 'Jackson kiddie case', I don't think he did it - reason being, the boy's father accepted an out of court settlement. Really, if you say a guy sexually abused your son, would accepting (even a huge amount) of money from him be justice?

In the second kiddie case, I also don't think he did it as the witnesses' credibility was severely undermined, and moreover, the jury found him not guilty. Pretty difficult to fix jury trials...

On the other hand, Mr Jackson has indeed done some strange things in his lifetime involving children.

1. Depends on how large the settlement was. Some people CAN be bought. Fathers have sold their daughters into slavery, prostitution or marriage for a pittance.

2. Was the OJ jury fixed? Or was it just astute selections from the Defense? I don't believe any prosecutor in America could have gotten a conviction from that jury.

But there is no doubt that jackson has mental problems. He certainly was trying to erase all traces of resemblance to his father with all the surgeries. He was also trying to look like his sisters, especially Janet. But he became addicted to surgery and went too far.

As to his Never Never Land house, he really had no childhood, so that was his way of going back, even to the point of bringing children in and sleeping with them. He got away with all of that because of who he was and his money. I guarantee you we couldn't do all that and avoid jail.

He's jury wasn't fixed, imo... but according to law, prosecution had to prove him guilty beyond the shadow of a doubt, which the prosecution failed.

Michael was seen buying wooden shoes in a Dutch shop today. He heard that a new political group was trying to get the age of consent reduced from 16 to 12.
