Why boycott Tropicana?

Tropicana, owned by PepsiCo, is the world's leading producer of orange juice.
Since 2000, PepsiCo have donated more than $2m to the Republicans and the Bush Administration. This is more than 80% of all PepsiCo's political donations.

The Governor of Florida, America's largest orange producing state, is Jeb Bush, brother of President GW. Until recently, the US was the world's largest producer of oranges, but with huge financial input from the US, Brazil has now overtaken America to became the world's largest orange producer. Brazil and Florida now grow between them nearly 50% of the world's oranges, 95% of which end up as juice.

I try not to support some companies, but ultimately, the majority of companies are all tied in together. Unless we grow our own produce and manufacture it ourselves using machinery and factories built by us, it would be impossible to actually achieve anything of a great scale.

No, not really. And plus, Tropicana tastes nice. :p

But seriously, rather than boycotting all these things, why don't we get some Muslim companies out there making rival products and aiding our own people? Gandhi turned the Indian people into self-sufficient members of society by not only boycotting British goods, but encouraging Indians to make their own goods.

We can make them successful. Where there's a will there's a way, anything is possible if you put your mind to it, I believe I can fly, to infinity and beyond, and other assorted insiprational phrases.
