Look into my eyes
And tell me what you see
You don't see a damn thing
'Cause you can't possibly relate to me
You're blinded by our differences

And if I am killed, it will be for Falasteen
It's written on my breath
So in your own patriotic words
give me liberty or give me death

Poem for Poem
I have looked into your eyes so curiously
And seen anguishing fire burning fiercely.
Neither slumbered nor fatigued you are
In pursuit of a dream to come true in war !
It is true, you don't hope to live tomorrow;
Yet you don't fear many tanks that furrow.
You are used to thank God every moment,
No matter you are in glad tidings or torment
Of the bulldozers,tanks, gases and the guns
That Uncle Sam's fund towards you turns;
Nor are your dreams traumatized by bombs
That have driven your thousands in tombs.
Your rightful fight for your homeland to free
Uncle Sam and his allies frown with spree.
'Terrorists' they label you with the Zionists,
While themselves are truely the terrorists!
You have truely defined the term for them:
"For freedom we fight Zionists and the Sam."
