بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Dearly beloved,

As Salaam 'alaikum wa rahamatullahi wa barakaatuhu.

Living in the west most of us have struggled in studying the arabic language, primarily for being able to read and understand the very speech of our creator and at the same time to increase ourselves in knowledge of this beautiful and perfect religion. As Allah -subhaanahu wa ta'aalaa- himself commanded his noble prophet -Salla Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam- :" And say: 'my lord increase me in knowledge.' "

This email has two target audiences and goals:

1- For those of you who have been blessed to learn and know the Arabic language, this is a guide to the various resources available on the Internet pertaining to methodologies in seeking knowledge, books of knowledge along with their explanations, as well as various pointers pertaining to specific aspects of seeking knowledge.

2- For those of you who are still struggling to learn Arabic, or haven't taken upon the noble task of learning, this is something to encourage you to learn the Arabic language so that you can facilitate your journey in seeking knowledge, and realize how much you are actually missing out on.

I've broken down the crux of this message into five main topics, and have included a relevant link for each topic (just click on the title). As you will notice each link contains several further links. From those further links I have selected the ones I thought were the most relevant and beneficial to make it easy upon those who have time constraints. However if one is able to I do suggest going through each link individually. After having gone through the first four subjects, I'm hoping you will agree the fifth truly is a hidden treasure.

Waffaqakum Allah. May Allah grant you tawfeeq.

I pray this was of benefit to you, and I ask Allah -the most high- to grant us all beneficial knowledge, righteous actions, and sincerity in speech and action. Aameen.

Was salaam 'alaikum wa rahamatullahi wa barakaatuhu
