if i remember right the moon split in two one half went behind a mountain (i think) and the other went to another side
It was a miracle for the people of Quraish and they still didnt belive
the moon went back together after that

BTW i read somewhere that some astronauts have found a crack on the moon that goes all around it. (which prooves that the moon had split in half before)

i'll try to find more info inshallah

During his time, the people of Ya'juj and Ma'juj will appear and cause great destruction to the earth and devastation to the Muslims. Prophet ^Isa will take the believers to Mount at-Tur to supplicate Allah there to relieve them from these people. Allah will answer their du^a' and destroy all the people of Ya'juj and Ma'juj.
After that, Prophet ^Isa will rule the Muslims and there will be a time when peace, comfort, and safety will prevail. Prophet ^Isa will live for forty (40) years on earth after he descends. He will marry and have children. Then, he will die and be buried. ^Adullah Ibn Salam said, "It is written in the original Torah that Prophet ^Isa will be buried next to Prophet Muhammad" (in the chamber of Lady ^A'ishah.)

As Salaam Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu

The general implication of the narrations in the books of Sunnah is that Jesus will come back in the end calling for Islam and application of the Shari`ah.

In Fath Al-Bari, (vol. 6, pp. 490-494), we read that Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) said:

“By the One in Whose hand is my soul! The Son of Mary is about to come back as a just ruler who will break the cross, kill the swine and cancel the tribute, and money will be so great in amount that no one will be in need of it and one act of prostration will be more lovable to a person than the whole world and every thing in it.”

Then, Abu Hurayrah recited:

“And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them.”

(An-Nisa’: 159) In his Sahih, Imam Muslim reported this hadith with the addition: “…and kill the Dajjal (Anti-Christ).””

He will come back at the end of the time and rule the land with Islam. He will live till Allah causes him to die and will be offered funeral prayer by Muslims.

The Second Coming of Jesus is clearly established from the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah. We Muslims should not have any doubt about this matter. The Prophetic Hadiths make it very clear that:

1- Jesus will descend (yanzil) and will not be born. Thus any one who will be born and will grow up in front of the eyes of his contemporaries and then will claim that he is the Promised Masih, will be misusing these Hadiths and misleading the people.

2- Jesus' coming will be "a sign of the approaching Day of Judgment". If any one made a claim of being the Masih, while the portents of the Day of Judgment in which Jesus will appear did approach, neither in his life nor soon after him, then it is proved that he was a false pretender and not a true Messiah.

3- Jesus will not come to add or subtract anything from Islam. He will not claim himself to be a new Prophet or Messenger. He will not even lead a prayer of Muslims, he will follow in prayers the Ameer or Imam of Muslims. If any one claimed to be the Messiah and led the prayers of Muslims then that person, according to the Hadiths, will not be a true Masih.

4- Jesus will be a just judge. He will make right judgment between the truth and falsehood. He will break the cross, kill the pig and will remove the Jizyah. This means that he will correct the false doctrines and beliefs that are spread about him and about his teachings among his followers and many of them will follow him and thus the followers of the Prophet Muhammad and Prophet Jesus, peace and blessings be upon both of them, will be united into one Ummah and there will be no need for Jizyah.

5- Jesus will fight the Dajjal and will kill him near Jerusalem. He will not say that Qital or fighting is abolished and is not necessary any more.

We do not know when Jesus will come, but he will surely come. It is important to believe whatever Allah has said in the Qur'an, and whatever is explained in the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

May Allah keep us on the right path.

The House of Allah will be destroyed? I thought Allah will always protect it? When they say Abyssinian, are they talking about what is present day Ethiopia, or is Somalia, Djibouti, and Eritrea included? Or will Ethiopia truly take over Somalia and its surrounding countries?

Yes but remember the flood. It was meant to happen. And it was meant to flood the Kabah. But it was rebuilt by the prophet. Like that i think that was suppose to happen. You see nothing happens without the desire of Allah (SWT) :)
