Assalamu Alaikum

what do the members here think about a train driving career?

hours - 35-40 (varies)

pay - begins at 18k and goes up to 40k

shifts - can be upto 11 hours a day.




thoughts?

plus i think it'll be easier arranging prayer times as a train driver?

^ yeah or in the train, its rare to be a lone driver i think. n i think they limit each journey to 2 hours so will that ever make me miss a prayer?! Allahu a'lam

A bit boring though isn't? And can't be that healthy, sitting around all day...

As for pray, I once saw a tram driver hope of the tram (when it reached the end of the line), take out a water bottle and make wudu! :D

yep see now thats me except in a train lol


yeah sis but i want a career which doesnt demand too much, for real i just want to be able to earn enough cash to take care of a family (cause i dont want my wife to work) and i want to be able to spend the rest of my time studying islaam on the side.


hmm...i think i can hack the train driving... i mean i wouldnt really find it boring. i can pre-occupy my mind with stuff

I can't remember entirely, but I'm pretty sure he prayed on the tram. (he had a few minutes before he needed to drive off again).
