Music is Shaytans Qur`an!

Bismillah wal hamdu lillah


The distinguished teacher, the second shaykhul Islam, ibnul Qayyim al Jawziyyah said in ighathat ul-lahfan (1/224-225),

"From the deception of the enemy of Allah and the snares that he uses on those who are lacking in islamic knowledge, sound intelligence and religion and by which he traps the hearts of the ignorant and the foolish is by listening to clapping, whistling, and singing to forbidden instruments that take the heart away from the Qur`an and its teachings and make them addicted to sins and lewdness.

This is the qur`an (reciting) of shaytan and he keeps one from the Qur`an of ar-Rahman. It is the chant of the homosexuals and the adulterers. Shaytan is able to deceive the wrongful souls by it.

Shaytan makes it look good to them by way of deception. He inspires them with false thoughts to consider it something good. They accept his guidance and as a result, the Qur`an of ar Rahman is neglected and abandoned."
