Is it Christianity?
Is it part of Christianity?

Anglican Church is a christian church, it is not another religion. Anglicans are protestans in theology who share catholic system of hierarchy.

Aaron pretty much summed it up nicely. Anglicans are sort of a middle ground between Catholicism and Protestant theologies.

C of E is what you are if you dont express a preference.
All accross the UK right now, people are filling in forms, and when they come to the "Religion" slot, they put C of E.
Theres very few christians going around saying "I'm Church of England", it is in everyday life another word for "cant be bothered" or "Agnostic but dont know it yet"
