a couple poems

Salam y'all... here are few poems by me. These aren't in my usual hip hop structure, more in a spoken word structure.

the first one is called "beneath a rainbow"

It's been many a year I've been wondering aimless,
many a tear, becasue in the face of my lord I've been so shameless,
Although I keep on searching I don't know what it is I'm searching for,
They say that when the lord gonna close a window he gonna open a door,
but what if it's an illusion, just a trap floor?
the souls the key, so what if the soul doesn't fit?
it's destiny where we end up, so what if my fire is lit?
I dedicate this to every wondering soul,
every man, woman, child trying to reach their goal,
those special ones that keep wondering aimless,
but what would happen if we were all shameless?
trying to reach the end of my rainbow but the anger in my soul keeps weighing me down,
but my mind keeps wondering where I'll be found,
and I do believe in the holy trinity,
but not in the traditional sense, it's the love shared between the lord, the prophet god bless him and me,
and thats the only way it could be,
and thats the only way I could see,
for without the love and guidance of Allah how could I know, and how could I exist,
and how could i follow my road and be aware of the twist in satans' forked tongue,
so through the trinity I know that there is a pot of gold, and there is a rainbow,
but I'm wondering where to go coz god closed my window,
and I know if I don't find a way out I'll be a hero to zero,
my ink may dry up but my ink keeps the pages wet, keeps them fresh,
my pages may leave me but tears will be wept when I'm laid to rest,
and heres the million pound question, is death the pot of gold if lifes the rainbow?
maybe one day I'll find you beneath my rainbow,
and maybe one day I'll find you beneath my rainbow,
and maybe one day I'll find you.

this is the second one called "understand this"

Understand this, I am a savage, but thats who Shabab X is, so if you thought you knew me you were wrong,
Understand this, you must be insane if you think you can change me, your better of trying to enslave me,
Understand this, I am still a Muslim man, I will never run and I've never ran, coz on the day of judgment I want my book of poems in my right hand,
Understand this, I'm not just angry, I'm revolutionary, so whats more dangerous to you?
Understand this, my words will bring change, so I dont need to be violent or deranged,
Understand this, Mahdi might be the one to bring order but Im'a do the prep work, split up and search for the wisest words on Earth,
Understand this, what it is, is what its always been turn the red in our Ummah to colour green,
Understand this, if you stay ignorant your walking into the devils trap, he's like Santa clause luring you into his lap,
Understand this, I never ever needed to curse to get my words across, and yet they'll still be embossed in your mind, like Isa supposedly dying on the cross,
Understand this, you could never really understand me until you face your own faults, like Frankenstein's monster taking hold of his bolts and asking for forgivness from Satans horseman and his catapaults,
Understand this, my point is not to stop living, just to stop sinning, coz when your in the grave sinking, you'll be wishing and wondering if you'll be forgiven.
