I was trying to find out recently, after news came out that Pete Doherty had reverted to Islam.

Rumours of Michael Jackson reverting to Islam have been in the media on and off over the past 3 or 4 years, most recently in February/March 07.
There haven't been any news on the topic since then, as far as I could find.

I came across this bizarre picture, allegedly showing Michael Jackson in January 06:

To be honest, I haven't found any reliable source (Islamic or non-Islamic), which mentions his conversion as anything more than just a rumour.
On the other hand, MJ doesn't seem to have been in the news much at all in the last year, so perhaps he really is sitting somewhere quietly studying Islam ... who knows?

Jackson joined the infamous NOI and then dropped out sometime around his court dates for child molestation... as it was very bad publicity..
