To give a brief outline: the Shaykh goes into a look at the history of Islaam in America, with a brief look into pre-Columbus times, Islaam at the time of the Founding Fathers, during the slavery era (did you know that the first fiqh manual written in America was by Bilali Muhammad, a slave who wrote it from his memory based on the risalah of Abu Zayd al Qayrawan) and recent times including the NOI and after. A very interesting lecture indeed!
