From what I understand, Prophet Muhammad (SWS) wanted Mecca to be a city where Muslims always felt welcome, so if a Muslim from another country, such as the US wanted to move to mecca, as a way to seek refuge from the adversities of this world and reap the reward of the holy city can you do it? Is this easy to do or hard to do? Has this ever been addressed? Are you accepted as someone who is seeking refuge from worldy evils and how would that go? I'm 31 and would like to move to Mecca when I'm in my 40s or so, regardless of my financial situation at that time, because I believe I'd be most fulfilled by doing that! So, in a way that worldly means doesn't get in the way, how would it work if a muslim just wanted to "escape" the lowliness/baseness of the world to live in mecca!
