welcome aboard and May Allah swt ease your troubles..

now, let me ask this? can you not practice islam in secret at home until such a time your parents become either more accepting or at least until you graduate high school and ready to move to college into the dorms in which case I don't think they can have any jurisprudence over you?

What makes you so sure your parents wont support you?

Even if they mind im sure they will let you practise the religion you feel is true.

I think a discussion can help but you know better and Allaah knows best so ask for his help :)

Salam frostedpop!
If you're 16, this year, or the next, is all that's left of high school, right? I agree with skye, I really think you should try to get at least a high school degree before moving out. Before even thinking of moving out you should have talked to your parents, of course, but I'm assuming you already did that, right? Just explain what islam is, and how much it stresses parental obedience, how it is the right religion for you. Maybe they'll understand.

If not, try practising at home in secret, I'm guessing the 5 prayers would be the most difficult to hide. Do you share a room with a sibling? If not maybe you could close the door and hope they don't come in? But try to stay at least as long as you finish high school, then in college you're on your own.

If all else fails I guess moving into the council house would be a good idea, if it's suitable and all of course (i'm not really sure what a council house is).

I hope it all works out for you! Pray to Allah for help, and inshAllah everything will become easy.
