Quick question, Is fibre any material that the stomach can't digest and basicly adds bulk... Or is it a particular polysaccharide?
:w: and thanks :)

Assalamu alykum
Something i learnt in biology:
Cellulose cannot be digested by the stomach. Its the material used to make cell walls in a plant cell. Its a carbohydrate only present in plants.
Cows can digest it since the have bacteria in thier stomachs that can break it down.
Thats my guess of "fibre"
Correct me if im wrong.

coriander also comes out straight away lol and you can see it, but i think if you chew your coriander and sweet corn properly then you wont see it when it comes out.
