French is probably the easiest. Or spanish. It largely depends on yoir lingusitic background though.
Latin is difficult for most people, but it's a fascinating langauge, very useful too.

i would opt for either spanish or french, if you want a language that is more broad then spanish cos you can use it in many parts of the world, french is a little restricted.
german definately not cos it always sounds like your gathering your saliva to spit.
mandarin chinese sounds hard!
but if i was really in your shoes i'd do latin cos it is rare.

one language i would love to learn is aramaic.

If I'm not wrong the grammar is rather simple. Thousands of different charachters pose the problem though..

Out of the choices you give, I would say Latin is the most usefull. It is very much the language of usage by the medical and scientific community. A background in it can make the study of most of the sciences and technical fields easier.

Well at the moment I'm doing French and German alhamdullilah and out of the options you've given us, I can't really say which one's easier. One of the huge differences is that German has much more grammar rules which is useful because that means their are few irregular patterns. Whereas French has less Grammar rules, but more irregular patterns. Listen to some German or French films (or English films with French/German language setting on) or whatever and see which one you like better is what I'd say.

lol wuttever u do sis do NOT take german, latin, or manderine!

German - If you travel, only learn the insults, like i do, then when you see germans in the airport starin at you, cuss em out in there own language! NOTE: THE SECURITY KNOWS GERMAN, DONT TRY DEM!!:)

Latin - DEAD language, useless, waste of time, and em...reminds me of romans and greeks...ughh...which reminds me of losers makin statues and losers in losery hats and ...most of all...history class...

Mandirine - NO ONE knows wut that is, besides chinese is harrd! and prolly useless if ur life is like mine (not plannin on goin to china any time soon!)

French - ...only learn this so you can understand what they sayin on arabic tv when they translate it to french on the bottom of the screen...and ur arabic sucks...pretty useless for me tho.

SPanish- ah, there beautiful , useless for me, language! THere insults are easiest, have to tell ya that!>...
ahem ahem,,,read under my name,,,ahem ahem... :D

well good luck wit the rest of ur school boringness waste of time! :)

Much will depend on what you plan to do in the future. If you plan to enter into the field of psychology or psychiatry you will discover that the best grad schools require at least a basic knowledge of German.

If you plan on majoring in a medical field a background in Latin is often required for med school.

If you desire to pursue a career in literary studies or linguistics, both Greek and Latin are prerequisites.

Most Malaysians would choose Mandarin... because it's easier to learn it in Malaysia, because you can hear the language on the street, market, radio and tv shows. Plus you have lots of Chinese neighbours, friends and colleagues that can help you with the language...

But when it comes to Americans, i think Spanish is the easiest language to learn...

So ... go Spanish!
