THE UK's first insurance company that complies with the principles of the Muslim faith was launched yesterday.
Salaam Halal offers vehicle policies in line with Islam's Shariah law, which bans interest and uncertainty.
Unlike conventional policies, Salaam Halal will use a structure known as Takaful, which will spread the risk between all policyholders.
