Brothers and Sisters :w:

My mothers been Ill for a while now and anything medical is not helping. The problem is mental and she's hearing voices and can't even concentrate to read Namaz. I've been reading up on Ruqyah and think it would be more appropriate for someone who knows about it to deal with it.

Insha Allah one you may know someone authentic that I can go to for guidance. I'm based in London so if you know anyone please let me know and may Allah give you reward for your help.

Many thanks

salam alaikum sis,

there is this guy based in london... sis it sounds like sihr... i mean hearing voices and being ill... quranic ruqya would be the best thing...
i'm going to be totally honest with you i have never been myself to this bro but at the time that it was happening to me i searched and looked for a ruqya healing that specialises in it for some time around london and the only one i came across was this guy... i even called him but never got down to going to see him but you could give it a try... Sheikh Abu Hanifah (appears on the Islam Channel Q&A): 0208 471 5766 London

so give him a call Insha'Allah and see what he can do for you.

i pray that Allah swt through His Mercy cures you mother Insha'Allah and protects her from all the evil created in Allah swt's creation.

walikum asalam:)

Eeman, thank you so much for your kind information.

Just to let you know I am a brother and not a sister.

I will give him a call and see if he can help or guide me to someone who can help.

Brother IbnAbdulHakim I just went to the Hounslow Masjid and tried to find someone to talk to but it's always difficult to tell who you can trust or who has enough knowledge on this matter etc.. hence why I was asking if anyone knows someone personally etc...

If anyone else is reading this please let me know if you know anyone that would be able to perform ruqyah etc..

If they are hearing voices , you will need to register them with a GP and make an appointment,so they can be properly assessed and given the required treatment for the mental health problem they have.

How old is your mom? were her symptoms sudden or protracted over a long period? did anything traumatic happen to her recently-- also is she taking any medications?

just to be on the safe side akhi, please take your mom to her GP she will need some tests.. there are excellent medications out there to deal with auditory hallucinations that is if they aren't secondary to some occult infection or infarct.. but someone has to determine the etiology, it may NOT be psychiatric in origins at all.. sometimes high blood pressure can lead to mini strokes, even a brain abscess or tumors can cause this .. so she definitely needs to be seen by someone ..

brother salam alaikum...

im so sorry that is the old number...
ok you wont get any help from hounslow masjid neither southall nor acton...
i have already tried... now this is the new number for abu hanifa but i have been trying to get hold of him too for the past few days the number is a bit weird when you call it rings once or twice then stops ringing so i called islam tv to get a new number from him and they also gave me the same number and said that yeah its weird but if you keep trying then you will get hold of him cos that is hw they get hold of him

the number is 0208 215 1534

now there is also another guy in forest gate east london...
i dunno about him whatsoever i have also spoken to him but i am more keen to go to abu hanifa...
but if i dont get holdof abu hanifa then i have no choice but to go to this guy.
his name is sherif khan number: 07792916378
i spoke to him and asked him exactly what methods he uses cos i am very very very picky and cannot trust people even be it imams... and as far as he explained it is only quranic ruqya and nothing else so it seems safe.

he charges £30 which he said the money will go to the masjid now which masjid i do not know... then he also said something really weird which made me think twice... he goes that after i may need some medicine from pakistan or india depending on my condition and that may cost more... now my urdu sucks so i couldnt get him to explain properly what this medicine was plus i never knew there was any need for medicine and still think there isnt.

cos the actual Quranic ruqyah is what heals you not medicine. Allahu alam.

but keep us posted Insha'Allah.

wa salam.
