Yes it does because it was done on the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam. Likewise, Jinns exist as well.

yep it exists

Allaah sent it down with the two angels Harut and Marut who thereafter taught the humans after giving them the warning of the fitnah it brings.

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs - Surah Baqarah - Verse 102

{ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَا تَتْلُواْ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُعَلِّمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلسِّحْرَ وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَـٰرُوتَ وَمَـٰرُوتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولاَ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلاَ تَكْفُرْ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ ٱلْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلاَ يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُواْ لَمَنِ ٱشْتَرَاهُ مَا لَهُ فِي ٱلآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَٰـقٍ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْاْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ }

The Jews left the guidance of all the prophets (And they followed that which the devils falsely related) they acted upon what the devils had written (against the kingdom of Solomon) about the collapse of Solomon's kingdom, and 40 days of sorcery and white magic. (Solomon disbelieved not) did not write this sorcery and white magic; (but the devils disbelieved) did write it, (teaching mankind) the devils taught people, as it is said that the Jews taught people (magic and that which was revealed to the two angels) but the angels were not taught sorcery and white magic; and it is said that this means: they also taught what the angels were inspired with (in Babel, Harut and Marut. Nor did they teach it to anyone) nor did the angels describe anything to anyone (till they had said) at the outset: (We are only a temptation) we have been tried with calling people to this in order that we reduce the intensity of the torment inflicted on ourselves, (therefore disbelieve not) do not learn or act upon it. (And from these two (angels) people learn) without being taught by them (that by which they cause division between man and wife) that by which a man finds excuse to leave his wife; (but they injure thereby) with sorcery and causing rift (no one save by Allah's leave) except through Allah's will and with His knowledge. (And they learn) the devils, the Jews and sorcerers learn from each other (that which harms them) in the Hereafter (and profits them not) in this world or the next. (And surely they do know) this refers to the angels, and it is said that it refers to the Jews in their Book, as it is said that his refers to the devils (that he who trafficketh therein) chooses sorcery and white magic (will have no (happy) portion in the Hereafter) in Paradise; (and surely evil is the price for which they sold their souls) by choosing sorcery for themselves, and the reference here is to the Jews, (if they but knew) but they do not know; and it is said that this means: and they did know this from their own Book.

yes, though it is one of the most pointless of human pursuits. on the other hand what magic exists does not necessarily conform to old womens' tales. why do you ask?

it is real in fact but black magic is considered very sinful. In fact there was a story of a person doing it and she could not see the kabah because he had commited black magic.

It's not supersition but I don't know if it's classified as magic.

Muslim, Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (r) that the Prophet (saws) said: "The evil eye is real and if anything were to overtake the divine decree, it would be the evil eye. When you are asked to take a bath (to provide a cure) from the influence of the evil eye, you should take a bath."
[Classed as saheeh by al-Tirmidhi, and also by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1251]

Imam Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi (2059, where he classed it as saheeh) narrated that Asma’ bint ‘Umays said: "O Messenger of Allah, the children of Ja’far have been afflicted by the evil eye, shall we recite ruqyah for them?" He said, "Yes, for if anything were to overtake the divine decree it would be the evil eye."
[Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.]

The story you say was horrible..

this woman used to do her thing, and then have it placed in people's graves so no one would be able to retrieve it.. astghfor Allah il3atheem.. the sheikh who was listening to her story was so appalled he cursed her, people came down hard on him, telling him, who is he to judge someone who wants to repent.. but sob7an Allah.. she tried several times and indeed couldn't see the ka3ba..

it is a cardinal sin..

Neither....

The Evil Eye has been around since the beginning of time. It simply means sending someone a thought that seems intrusive or invasive or has the power to hurt him or her. The bad fortune that results is considered to have been caused by envy. The evil eye is not necessarily considered to be intentional or associated with witchcraft or sorcery. Oddly enough, this thought form could actually be complimentary in nature.

It is tradition among many Muslims, that if a compliment is to be made, you are always supposed to say "Masha'Allah" (ما شاء الله) to ward off the evil eye; it literally means "whatever God wills". It is a testimony from someone that he/she believes that either good or bad it will only happen if God wants to.

Actually, here in Pakistan, a number of advertisements appear in local news papers by some Aamils. They claim they can perform Magic [ specially back magic] and also they claim that can remove magic's effects.

I am really surprised how people are fooling innocent people to gain benefits.

Also, some people say that there are 2 types of magic. one is normal and one is black magic...

I m just curious about these things...

"Evil Eye" is like someone got some thing special or great and when someone who is deprived of it sees it, then s/he may take a deep sigh. An that things lost from the first person.

It is something like it.

Magic? hmm... I am not sure.

Has anyone got an example? I mean has there recently been any reports of real magic?

How is magic different to an illusion?
