I think we are not sure what you mean my 'hailing'?
Hail is something like hard snow, which we get it in the winter time: http://blogs.keloland.com/Images/Upl...e/4-12Hail.JPG

But 'hail' can also mean to 'call out', 'exclaim' or 'praise'.
So perhaps you mean recitations?

Where are you from, Gladiolus? I am guessing that English is not your first language.

By hailing I think she means 'calling'....in that context I think it would make sense.
