:salamext:

A Muslim must always have good intentions and goodwill for everyone. A good person approaches people and situations with an open mind and a large heart.

It is reported by a man from the Muzaina tribe that people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the best of what man has been given? He replied: "Good conduct". - Baihaqi

The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.

It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.

You always pass failure on the way to success.

You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have.

Only surround yourself with people who will lift you higher.

Miss a meal if you have to, but don't miss a book.

Some people claim that it is okay to read trashy novels because sometimes you can find something valuable in them. You can also find a crust of bread in a garbage can, if you search long enough, but there is a better way.

Most homes valued at over $250,000 have a library. That should tell us something.

Everything you need for your better future and success has already been written. And guess what? It's all available. All you have to do is go to the library. And there's probably a library in every neighborhood.

Some people read so little they have rickets of the mind.

Don't just read the easy stuff. You may entertained by it, but you will never grow from it.

The book you don't read won't help.

It isn't what the book costs; it's what it will cost if you don't read it.

Wisdom:

Patience is the companion of wisdom.

Wisdom outweighs any wealth.

Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you'd have preferred to talk.

Friends:

A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be.
Friendship isn't a big thing - it's a million little things.
Friends are those rare people who ask how you are and then wait for the answer.
There are big ships and small ships. But the best ship of all is friendship.
A friend can tell you things you don't want to tell yourself.
The essence of true friendship is to make allowance for another's little lapses

Learn all you can from old people. They’ve gone over the road you must travel.
It takes a smart man to recognize a wise man and a smarter one to learn from him.
So many schools, so many rules, and books, and ways to train the mind, when what we really need to win, is a powerful will and a goal to find.

You’re not very smart if youÂ’re not a little kinder and wiser than yesterday

The great end of education is to discipline rather than to furnish the mind; to train it to the use of its own powers, rather than fill it with the accumulation of others.

You can finish school but you can never finish your education.

To know that you do not know is to know a great deal.

Learning does not consist only of knowing what we must or we can do, but also of knowing what we could do and perhaps should not do.

The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.

If you study to remember, you will forget, but, If you study to understand, you will remember.

Your character is defined by what you do, not what you say or believe.

Every choice you make helps define the kind of person you are choosing to be.

Good character requires doing the right thing, even when it is costly or risky.

You don't have to take the worst behavior of others as a standard for yourself. You can choose to be better than that.

What you do matters, and one person can make a big difference.

The payoff for having good character is that it makes you a better person and it makes the world a better place

The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made.

She got her looks from her father. He's a plastic surgeon

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it, misdiagnosing it, and then misapplying the wrong remedies.

No man goes before his time - unless the boss leaves early

Military justice is to justice what military music is to music

Marriage is a wonderful institution, but who wants to live in an institution?

In Hollywood, brides keep the bouquets and throw away the groom.

A hospital bed is a parked taxi with the meter running

A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.

Some words of wisdom for us all to contemplate over insh'Allah.

those who can believe, no proof is needed; those who cant, no proof is enough.

God is not a reality that needs to be explained; He is the explanation to the reality.Be a good Muslim and you will not want to lie. Be a very good Muslim and you will not need to lie. - (translated from swedish) Abdul-Hakim Murad

Every atom in your body is a blessing from your lord and you're in great debt as it is so don't slack around wasting time when you have a debt to repay

Ibn Taymiyyah (rh) said upon entering his prison cell: "And thereupon a wall will be raised between them, with a gate in it. Within it will be grace and mercy, and the outside thereof suffering." Al-Qur'aan 57:13

Al-Hasan Al-Basri (rH) said: "Son of Adam! You are nothing but a number of days, whenever each day passes then a part of you has gone

Woman was made from the rib of man. She was not created from his head to top him, nor from his feet to be stepped upon. She was madefrom his side to be close to him, from beneath his arm to be protected by him, and near his heart to be loved by him.

Let's begin our days with "Bismillah" and end it with "La illaha ilallah

Al-Hasan al-Basri said, "Whoever competes with you in the Deen then try to surpass him, and whoever competes with you in the matters of this life then throw it back at him."

Allah gives and forgives, man gets and forgets

“I have accompanied people (Sahaba) who feared the rejection of their righteous deeds more than you fear the consequences of your sins” Al-Hasan Al-Basri

Nay, you prefer the life of this world, although the Hereafter is better and more lasting

Defining ikhlaas, Al-Jurjaani rahimahullah said:" It is to not seek any audience for your deeds other than Allah"

Who are we to not forgive others for their wrongs when they ask for forgiveness when Allah Almighty is ready to forgive them?

Once Khalifa Haroon Rasheed asked Imam Malik: "Wot is the evidence pointing 2 the existence of Allah (swt)?" Imam Malik replied: "Difference in languages, difference in pitches of voice, difference in singing are proof that Allah (swt) exists!"

"I have never tried to cure anything, that is more difficult to me than my niyaa" sufyan Ath-Thawree

Its not possible? Everything is possible for Allah swt.

The righteous salaf were as fearful of their good deeds being squandered, or not being accepted, as the present generation is certain that their neglect would be forgiven. - Hasan Al-Basri

The hypocrite looks for faults; the believer looks for excuses

What has passed by has come to an end.
The pen has been lifted and the ink has dried.
And the book has been closed,
Look back at your pass to learn
A lesson from it but don’t drown in it,
Rather move forward and start all over again

We don't see our errors, instead we point the finger at others

Only human made Justice is deprived from Rahmah. Divine Justice is characterized by Rahmah

Keep your head high, but don't stick your nose in the air

Worry is like a rocking chair--gives you something to do, but doesn't get you anywhere

The shortest distance between a problem and its solution is the distance between your knees and the floor. The one who kneels to Allah can stand up to anything

Ali (RA) said: when words are in your mouth YOU control them, but once they come out THEY control YOU.

Do not spread thorns before those who spread thorns your path. Otherwise, the entire world will be covered with thorns

Lowering one's gaze leads to elevation of one's spirit

Education is our passport to the future,
for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.
-Malcome X

The person i like the most is the one who points out my defects
-Umar (radiAllahu anhu)

O people who take pleasure in a life that will VANISH,
falling in love with a fade shadow is sheer stupidity
-Ibn al-Qayyim

Put aside your pride,
Set down your arrogance,
And remember your grave.
- Ali Ibn Abu Talib (radiAllahu anhu)

Seeking knowledge at a young age is like engraving on a stone
-Hassan al-Basri

Shaitan is always looking for an opening to get you.
Drive him away with Dhikr.

When we look for strength in ourselves, we will be weak.
When we look for strength in Allah, we will be invincible.

How can you be Despair?
Despair is when you are not getting anywhere.
Allah has said that He will never let any of our good deeds be lost.

Never do I argue with a man with a desire to hear him say
what is wrong is wrong, or to expose him and win victory over him.
Whenever I face an opponent in debate I silently pray-
O Lord, help him so that truth may flow from his heart and on his tongue, and so that if truth is on my side, he may follow me;
And if truth be on his, I may follow him.
-Imam Ash-Shafi (rahimullah)
