**You can now study Islamic courses in your own time and have them delivered in your local centre, mosque, or even your own home. You organise the class and the Habiba Institute will send you a tutor with a complete course package.

TEACHERS FOR THE COURSES

Habiba tutors are qualified teachers from both Arab and non-Arab backgrounds. They bring skills and enthusiasm from a combination of studying with Islamic scholars and learning Arabic at universities. They have also spent considerable time in the Middle East learning the language, and in addition to this, they have teaching experience and qualifications. Habiba tutors have been developing effective teaching methodologies by teaching Arabic to groups of sisters for many years. They understand the difficulties encountered by students since they were learners themselves. They endeavour to teach students how to acquire the skills necessary to progress in Arabic language learning and try to inculcate love for the language rather than have students drop out due to the intensity of the course.
Habiba Tajwid teachers have read the Qur’an in its entirety with Tajwid and have Ijazah, i.e. are certified to teach, by scholars such as Shaykh Al-Kurdi of Damascus. The Tajwid teachers are also selected for their teaching qualifications such as QTS and CELTA, as well as for their zeal to pass on that which Allah has bestowed on them.
Habiba Institute currently has qualified teachers all over Greater London, including the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham, Hackney, Hounslow, Ealing, Redbridge and Enfield. There are also teachers outside the London area in High Wycombe, Luton and Rochdale.
