GPU has become so mashed in the past year, its disgusting. Brothers and sisters screaming and sitting together, like they're in some kind of concert, and going "WOOHOO". Astagfirullah. Is that what Islaam has come to? Following in the footsteps of the kaafir so you have a concert? SubhanAllaah. May Allaah Guide us all.

I think it is our responsibility to act with dignity and stay within our limits. We can't blame the organisers if someone has loose character. We only have ourselves to blame.

We hope their intentions are good and of course only Allah knows them. However, with such a HUGE set-up it seems invalid that nobody 'along the line' knows what is hapening. They have set it up as such. The Ummah needs to sort itself out...

Please don't. That's likely to scare people away.
Offer people some nice cups of tea instead while sipping yours in an elegant manner.

Women and men. I was in the right place. The Halls were shared for GPU and this other event with naked people in it.
Baaaaaaaaad combination Astaghfirullah!!!!
Even the entrance to the toilets was shared and you had to walk past these Naked women in a narrow corridoor. It was a nightmare trying to keep my eeman straight :-[

In fact, I found to it to be more haraam. There was a stupid-waste-your-time-because-we-have-nothing-better-to-entertain-you-with debate regarding the female sex and the male sex. And then there was the rapping of the girls... And the screaming... And the man saying, "arousing welcome to..." And then there were the people on stage encouraging louder screams from girls (yes I know they were hoping the brothers would shout... but looking at the situation, they shouldn't have encouraged).

Nice seeing some of you over the past few days those that popped over and also thanks to Phoenix for helping out on the Stall
GPU this year to be honest wasnt all that dissapointing in terms of People turning up and also what went on
The Second Stage im sure most of you probably turned on your TV and had a look to be honest it was a Total Joke - some of the Acts on there well im not gonna "Say" anything or ill get in trouble but im sure most of you can figure that out....
Labbayk and Kamal Uddin and Abdullah Rolle (non musical stuff)were the only decent performers on the Second Stage.......the rest forget it......how they got a chance to get on and be labelled "Nasheed" is beyond me....should have been MTV....yeh totally shambles and diabolical....
The Exhibition and Exhibitors were good which is the only reason i went there mainly for Branding and Promotional Stuff and alhumdulillah went quite well....apart from some Kid who tried to "Steal" from Our Stall...he literally came up took a bottle of Drink and tried to run away..but luckily one of the brothers who was helping out on Stall Chased after him and go away...
Other people i heard got Caught Stealing and security guard took them down
apart from that usual stuff fights outside in the end xcel security refused to allow people in after 9:30pm despite them having tickets things got a bit nasty and they had to step down
Also i heard 2 people got STabbed in Excel on sat nite..no idea who was it..whether it was from the GPU or the other Stupid exhibition that was going on people dressed up as Superaman and all cartoon characters.....
Main stage i did not even go on there had no time and had no desire either just caught last 10 mins of each days at the end..and that was it.....

Yah, it's a pretty good school. I even tried for it and failed during my first few days as a FOB.
There was a duo of two brothers who 'sang' and they said that their CDs could be purchased at the stall G40. I immediately thought LI. But their promoting nasheed didn't go too well. One forgot the words and said the wrong ones and I found myself laughing pretty hard. They were a two funny people.
