For myself, I find it easier to learn the Arabic by reading the transliteration and by hearing. Insha'Allah, this will be helpful to you.

This site should be helpful to learn the positions and movements of prayer. This was the most difficult adjustment for me, as ritual prayer was new to me.

I encourage you to first take your shahada and enter into the fold of Islam.

Prayer is very important in Islam, but it can be overwhelming to a new revert to learn a new language and ritual. I encourage you to try your best and not let over-zealous Muslims push you beyond your comfort zone in making the adjustment to being a Muslim. It is helpful if you can find a supportive sister-in-faith to help you.

Brother Woodrow said something to the effect of, "It takes only a moment to enter into Islam, but it takes a lifetime to become a Muslim."
