:sl:

I have this habit, I don't do anything until a day ahead or so. & for some strange reason I pass too. I have come to realise that if I studied more I will not pass. But If I do it last minute "my brain kicks into the survival mode and I do great:-[. lol.

I understand things better when I am under pressure ...like I know that I have hours left be4 I hand in my assignments, or a day.

anybody have this? I should be happy I know, but wondering what u are all like. & there is one lil dwnside to this, If ur sick ur finished! & u''ll fail too. So dont try this at home/ or school.

get votin!

I work the best under pressure for some reason.

And I have found that some of my best results are the outcome of last min and highly pressurised times....situations.

Physical pressure also, pushing yourself to the limit physically to meet deadlines, to get things done...works oh so well for me

I can work with both.. I usually am under no pressure, though, since I finish any work I have the same day it's assigned; I hate delaying things.

I seem to work better under pressure, and even then I seem to go out of my way to do other things rather than do the work. For example, I have this proposal due in tomorrow and it's supposed to be 1,500 words and I'm supposed to have read a few articles and stuff and I haven't even got past the first paragraph and you see me here!
Ooh.la.la. I wish I was a methodical person. I really really wanted this year to be my best year and I really wanted to be organised. But I just can't. I really can't do it!
So, to conclude I am a very very very last minute person. Oh.

Pressure? Simple put yourself under pressure all the time. Most people do last minute and naturally you get used to it!!!...

If only they knew how inspiring, peaceful and harmonious it is when you study/work of revise, then surely no one would do last minute anymore. :-[

What you need is, a table, chair, for some a bed. Light coloured walls, great lighting, and no noise from brothers and sisters. Listen to a motivational recitation for 10 mins, and then you'll feel moivated to do anything. Time flies and you get so much done, SubhaanAllah :D

For the most part, I work under pressure. Unless it's a paper, which I'd start like 2 or 3 weeks before, or a group project when I'd start a few days after the other group members figure out what they wanna do.

I am both at certain times.
Isn't it that if you have work to do that is due tommorow that is easy but is hard and you leave it for the last moment.
Need study tips.
I pray and study and I am still getting most c+s while my friend.
Prays writes messy and works on homework at night is getting average 90 and he swears alot unlike me. Any suggestions how to do better?

I also work best under pressure, leave assignments etc for last minute, usually the night or morning before. For example, I'm writing a final paper on friday and will only start studying for it later today. (Wednesday afternoon)

I recently enrolled on a six month complimentary medicine course (hijamah) and it made me realise just what you students go through, lol. I need plenty of time so that if something better comes into my head, I'll have the time to edit my work. I did my last assignment under pressure (ramadan) and I remember writing a new opening paragraph for an essay and forgetting to edit the original one. I ended up submitting my essay with two opening paragraphs. :-[:-[:-[

I voted slow studying but in all honesty, I'd say a mix of the two.
Sometimes I study last minute and I get surprisingly good grades as the pressure worked wonders. Other times whilst following the same studying routines, I don't do as well as I'd have liked. So I guess it depends on a number of things such as, which exam, mood, even things that may be going on in life..
