I'm going to buy a bunch of books this weekend, but I was wondering if I could find any online, perhaps the shorter ones, so I wouldn't have to spend too much time staring at the screen. Most are pretty well known, so I'm pretty sure they'd be somewhere, but where exactly I don't know. Anyone know of any specific sites that have complete books posted up on them, as pdf's perhaps?
Here's the list, if that helps:
Jane Eyre- Bronte
Hamlet- Shakespeare
Heart of Darkness- Conrad
Animal Farm- Orwell
Catcher in the Rye- Salinger
Beloved- Toni Morrison
The House of the Spirits- Isabelle Allende
Surfacing- Margaret Atwood
Oedipus Rex (or the whole trilogy if possible)- Sophocles
Jazakum Allah Khair, thanks.
