Please read the story first.

A while ago, I was going through some anxiety. I don't remember it that much. I'm not sure if I sold my soul to the devil or not. I just don't remember if I did it or not. But I want forgiveness from Allah just in case.

Is there any way I can get back my soul? Can I pray to Allah, and ask him for forgiveness? Will he listen to my prayers, espeicially in this situation?

Is there any way to get my soul back? Do I have to speak to Allah in prayer, and ask for forgiveness? Will Allah listen to my prayers and give me my soul, even in a situation like this?

assalamu alaykum

brother can you say exactly what happened? I cant understand what you are referring to. And your soul is in your body and can only leave by Allah's will. The devil cannot take your soul. Khayr, it sounds like you might've done something for which you need to repent and ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala to forgive you.

And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself, but then seeks forgiveness from Allah, he will find Allah forgiving and merciful. (Surat an-Nisaa 4:110)

Hadith Qudsi
"O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and put your hope in Me, I have forgiven you for what you have done and I do not mind. O son of Adam, if your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky and then you would seek My forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, if you were to come to Me with sins that are close to filling the earth and then you would meet Me without ascribing any partners with Me, I would certainly bring to you forgiveness close to filling it."

Say: O My servants who have transgressed against their own souls, despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah az-Zumar 39:53)

And invoke Him in fear and aspiration (of hope). Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to those who do good. Surat al-Araaf 7:56:

Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people. (Surah Yusuf 12:87)

Know that Allah is severe in punishment and that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (Surat al-Maaidah 5:98)

Call out to Him with fear and hope. (Surat al-Araaf 7:56)

And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself, but then seeks forgiveness from Allah, he will find Allah forgiving and merciful. (Surat an-Nisaa 4:110)

And seek Allahs forgiveness. Certainly, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (Surat al-Muzzammil 73:20)

Lo! Allah is a Lord of Kindness to mankind, but most of mankind give not thanks. (Surat al-Baqarah 2:143)

Will they not repent to Allah and ask His forgiveness? For Allah is the Forgiving, the Merciful. (Surat al-Maaidah 5:74)

And who can forgive sins except Allah? (Surah Ali Imran 3:135)

Say: Shall I not inform you of things far better than those (things of this world)? For the pious, there are gardens with their Lord, wherein rivers flow. Therein (is their) eternal home and pure wives. And Allah will be pleased with them. And Allah is Seer of the slaves. Those who say, Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire. They are those who are patient, those who are true and obedient with sincere devotion in worship to Allah. Those who spend (in charity) and those who pray and beg for Allahs forgiveness in the last hours of the night. (Surah Ali Imran 3:15-17)

And those who, when they commit a lewd act or wrong themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sinsand who forgives sins except Allah? And they do not persist in what (wrong) they were doing while they knew it. For such, the reward is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens with rivers flowing through, wherein they shall abide forever. How excellent is the reward of the doers (of good)! (Surah Ali Imran 3:135-136)

subhanAllah subhanAllah subhanAllah!!!!! See how adheem my Rabb is

then don't despair inshaAllah.. don't delay, make repentance and ask for His forgiveness now.

Selling soul to devil as in giving it to him for something in return. I don't know if I did this or not. I don't remember if I actually sold my soul to the devil or not. I really don't remember. I was going through anxiety at that time.

Do you think Allah will still forgive me for this? Can I still get my soul?

brother thers a prob with the link.
Your soul is not even yours i guess, i guess that each and every soul belong to Allah, so you can't sell it, its just a trick shaitaan playing on you, and remember Allah's mercy predominates his wrath.( sahih muslim 4939)

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Allah made mercy in one hundred parts and He retained with Him ninety-nine parts, and He has sent down upon the earth one part, and it is because of this one part that there is mutual love among the creation so much so that the animal lifts up its hoof from its young one, fearing that it might hurt it. ( sahih muslim 4942)

On the authority of Anas, who said: I heard the messenger of Allah say:

Allah the Almighty has said: "O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as its."

so brother, do not despair of Allah's mercy, return to Islam.
change environment, stop meddling with your old acquaintances, start doing your prayers little by little. you will probably find a lot of difficulties on your path, but these are just tests from Allah

You and and your soul belong to Allah. How can you sell something which does not belong to you in the first place?

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un = Verily we are Allah's and unto Him we shall return!

The feeling that you have somewhat sold your soul to the devil is just a figment of your imagination, or worse, an illusion by the devil himself. But it remains just an illusion because in truth all ultimately belong to Allah.

So repent to Allah and ask for His forgiveness and be rest assured that if you are sincere in asking for His forgiveness, He will surely remit your sins.

I dont think you can "sell your soul", basically I think what you mean is that Shaytan has tempted you into committing haraam.

But remember Allah is most merciful. Ask for forgiveness and he will never leave forget you.

how can one sell their soul our souls belongs to Allah if you have commited a sin repent and ask Allah for forgiveness. Or if you have made a mistake try to find ways of rectifying it or making amends.

Satan can't give you anything, Allah is the One who gives again and again, and He is the Most Merciful. So ask Him for forgiveness for your sin, and He will forgive you. Then follow His guidance, and He will give you more good. :)

Shaytan is tricking you, he can give you nothing and take nothing from you. All he can do is ask you to follow him, admitedley he can be seriously repetitious. You sound as if you experienced some kind of mental illness or breakdown if you cant remember. You dont need to ask advice via a forum, you have divine right to speak directly to Allah. Ask Allah for forgiveness and no devil can intervene. I hope and pray tht you find peace and think that you will have a powerful testimony. :sl:
