View Full Version : Arab Summit
:sl:
As all of us by now know that the Arab Summit will start in Kuwait on Friday.
What is you're expectations? What do you think they will do about the Gaza War?
I don't know if I can go there as the security will be high. I think a lot of protesting will happen here.

971 people have died in 18 days, and they've only just decided on a date to meet up.
Sighhh.imsad
edit- oh, as to what they'll do...
nothing.
if not, they'll find a way to make the situation worse, somehow.
Yes, this incident brings out the pessimist in me.:(

I think there should be a Muslim summit where all the Muslim countries come together to find a way to stop the Gaza massacre.

Totally understandable but how would they make the situation worse? Like stop sending stuff to Gaza? They can't!!

I wish this was the case. But the problem we got the world on our back + the so called liberal or progressive Islamic movement keeps showing the world how Islam is not. i.e Gay Muslim Movement and so on.
Its too much for us Muslims to handle, simply because a lot of us lost faith and left the matters to other humans instead of Allah. We are about 1 billion Muslims all over the world (more or less), millions are not practicing Muslims. That too puts a lot of weight on us, sadly. imsad

It's Arabs who screwed up Palestinians. They started several wars that resulted in Israel getting bigger and Palestine being occupied and once they figured they don't want to fight any more they seemed to stop caring for them, at least they're not willing to do anything, even now when Palis need help most in 60 years.
If the Arab nations sat still, we would probably have 1947 borders and possibly Palis still living in their houses.

as i heard a scholar say the other day, we blame every one for everthing , apart from our selves
We dont even pray the fajr salat, and how do we expect the help of Allah swt to come.

They will just talk. They will say that thye condemn the israeli attacks on Gaza and they will demand that these attacks stop. But of course nobody will listen to them... I have lost hope in all arab leaders, they don't even deserve to be called leaders.
