That's the reason these companies belong to the zionists- they bankrupt all the good companies by buying them out.

Like Terry's chocolates - israel tried to do it to them a few years back, but instead of giving up their company to the zionists, Terry's closed down their major factory (the one in Britain i think). But I don't know what happened after that...

Don't get over excited.
I am gonna keep my promise if the supreme court of Israel does not uphold the banning of Arab parties.
I don't buy israeli product anyway, at least not consciously.

Honestly, I'm not aware of any major Israeli companies. The only Israeli thing I do have is a massage shower.
I buy most product from the list though.

i always have mixed feelings about boycotting Israeli products. I believe we should, but at the same time I have pity for the Palestinians that work for those companies. Nearly every Palestinian that has a job, has to work for an Israeli company. It is not just Israelis that are hurt, sometimes a boycott can hurt Palestinians. Also many products made in Palestine are labeled made in Israel.

I wish we had a boycott list made by Palestinians living in Palestine, rather than one made by people that are not affected by any boycott.

Boycott, yes. Just be certain that who you boycott does not hurt Palestinians more than it hurts Israelis.

I am going to make a list of the major employers of Palestinians in Palestine and Israel, Use that to help decide what companies to boycot.

I'm still making the list and getting some big surprises. Some companies I was going to boycott only hire Palestinians.

Hopefully I will be done with my list today.

Do you suppose its because Palis work for less money ( do they? ) or because they're trying to avoid getting boycotted?

Could they be run by Palestinians even? Or maybe some company policy that supports Palestinians, but of a company overseas.

I do not think these people are prepared to hear me, so they and you will have to treat my above quoted post as a puzzle and try to decipher it all by yourselves

Interesting view. I think I understand where you are coming from and you are right. Often Boycotts become the result of hoaxes and they can erroneously back fire by helping the very people we think we are boycotting. International business is a bit more complicated than just saying a company is owned by such and such a nation. Actually nearly all if not all international corporations are owned by stockholders from ever nation. You will find in any company Israeli, Saudi, Kuwaiti, American, Palestinian, and so forth owners. No country owns any company except in some socialistic countries in which the companies are owned by the government. but, most companies are international corporations and are entities of their own with no national or religious affiliation.

However, many people here want to do what they can to support Gaza, even if it is just at an emotional level.

My reason for making the list of the largest Palestinian employers is to help us not unknowingly hurt Palestinians in any boycott.

The Palestinians who's only source of income is the israelis have themselves urged people to boycott israeli products (it's in the videos of the thread I just made- needs to be approved.)

Are you certain they represent the Palestinians. The Palestinians themselves could have a greater impact in Israel if they walked off the jobs or had a strike. But, the message they send by staying on the jobs is they need the work and depend on their jobs for their livelihood,

I don't know, but if they walked of their jobs they'd just die of starvation if nothing else, and the israelis would be left in power.

However, if we boycott the israelis they'll fall weak and this will have a greater benefit for the palestinians.

that's how I see it

As Muslims we need to do what we can to help our brothers and sisters, my brothers and sisters in Gaza are getting murdered out there. We must unite, and support them. Boycotting may seem pointless to some, but if everyone unites, and boycotts individually, then it'll be boycotted collectively.

Palestine are asking for us. It is our responsibility and obligation, individually and collectively, to support Muslims, all over the world.

Allah (Subhaana Wa'Taala) says:
"If they ask you for help or support (because of war, calamity etc) in the Deen, then it is your duty to support them...[8:72]

What I have seen in the past is Israeli companies offset the lose by eliminating Palestinian workers. Today nearly 23% of Palestinians are unemployed. compared to 7.3% Israelis, as Israeli companies loose money, Palestinians loose jobs. About 67% of the Palestinians live below the poverty level.

Yes, we need to boycott Israel, but we have to be selective and be certain we do not do more damage to Palestinians.

Still have a long ways to go here is what I find so far of companies that seem to actually benefit the Palestinians.

Coca-Cola, the largest plant in the mideast is located in Ramlah and the franchise is owned by Zahi Khouri, who was born in Jaffa now lives in Rahmlah and owns Palestinian National Beverage Company which is the only franchised bottler of Coca-Cola in Palestine and Israel. 100% of the employees are Palestinian

Nestle-- Formed their branch in Palestine in 1946 and continues to do business as Food Specialities Bethlehem Co located in the West Bank and again has 100% Palestinian Employees there\

Oddly there is a 100% owned and operated Palestinian company I would boycott. that is Bethlehem Star Olive Wood factory. Owned by Jamil Hosh and has all Muslim, Palestinian Employees. The reason being is I do not think it is right for Muslims to be engaged in the making of such things as Christian Nativity statues, Church Statues, Crosses or Rosary beads, which is what the company makes.

does that not translate as death by starvation either way? so if they do not choose such death, do we have a right or duty to impose it on them?
