Asalamualekum brothers and sisters,
I have heard that music is forbidden by some people but some muslims seem to still listen to music. Does it depend on the type of music e.g there are two songs talking about islam and Allah (swt) which when I listen to help me remember Allah (swt) are these still haraam? I can see hwo certain songs talkin about sexual desires etc are haraam but what about positive music. Jazakallah
