just recently from reading a thread/posts here that there is Sufism that is moderate/acceptable and there are the extreme kind...
i grew up basically having no idea about this and believed that all Sufi's are bad (probably because i have only seen the extreme kind)...
could some shed some light on this? i mean, what did the salaf (pious predeccors) have to say on this....what is the moderate/acceptable kind? maybe some history behind "what went wrong" as well...
and i hate to be picky, but views from shaikh's uthaymeen, al-Albaani, ibn baz, etc would be good...
