21:8 And We did not make the prophets forms not eating food, nor were they immortal [on earth].

21:9 Then We fulfilled for them the promise, and We saved them and whom We willed and destroyed the transgressors.

21:10 We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention. Then will you not reason?

21:11 Many a habitation of wicked people is there, which We crushed to piece, and after them raised up another people.

21:12 When they perceived Our Scourge they began to flee the place.

21:13 (Then it was said to them:) "Do not run away: go back to the same life of luxury and the houses where you were making merry: perhaps you may be asked about it."

21:14 They said, "O woe to us! Indeed, we were wrongdoers."

21:15 And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire].

21:16 And We did not create the heaven and earth and that between them in play.

21:17. Had We intended to take a pastime (i.e. a wife or a son, etc.), We could surely have taken it from Us, if We were going to do (that).21:18. Nay, We fling (send down) the truth (this Qur'an) against the falsehood (disbelief), so it destroys it, and behold, it (falsehood) is vanished. And woe to you for that (lie) which you ascribe (to Us) (against Allah by uttering that Allah has a wife and a son).

21:19. To Him belongs whosoever is in the heavens and on earth. And those who are near Him (i.e. the angels) are not too proud to worship Him, nor are they weary (of His worship).

21:20. They (i.e. the angels) glorify His Praises night and day, (and) they never slacken (to do so).

21:20 They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken.

21:21 Or have men taken for themselves gods from the earth who resurrect [the dead]?

21:22 Had there been within the heavens and earth gods besides Allah , they both would have been ruined. So exalted is Allah , Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.

21:23. He cannot be questioned as to what He does, while they will be questioned.21:24. Or have they taken for worship (other) aliha (gods) besides Him? Say: "Bring your proof:" This (the Qur'an) is the Reminder for those with me and the Reminder for those before me. But most of them know not the Truth, so they are averse.

21:25. And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad salalhu wa alaihe wa sallam) but We inspired him (saying): La ilaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allah)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)."

21:26 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants.

21:27 They cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command.

21:28 He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they cannot intercede except on behalf of one whom He approves. And they, from fear of Him, are apprehensive.

21:29.
And if any of them should say: "Verily, I am an ilah (a god) besides Him (Allah)," such a one We should recompense with Hell. Thus We recompense the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).

21:30. Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

21:31. And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided.

21:34. And We granted not to any human being immortality before you (O Muhammad salalahu wa alaihe wa sallam), then if you die, would they live forever?

21:35 Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.

21:36 And when those who disbelieve see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one who insults your gods?" And they are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers

21:37 Man was created of haste. I will show you My signs, so do not impatiently urge Me.

If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not avert the Fire from their faces or from their backs and they will not be aided (21:39)

21:42 Say, "Who can protect you at night or by day from the Most Merciful?" But they are, from the remembrance of their Lord, turning away.

21:43 Or do they have gods to defend them other than Us? They are unable [even] to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us.

(22:39) Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory.

(22:40) [They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord is Allah ." And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

22:41 [And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters.

22:42 And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so, before them, did the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud deny [their prophets],

22:43 And the people of Abraham and the people of Lot

(22:44) And the inhabitants of Madyan. And Moses was denied, so I prolonged enjoyment for the disbelievers; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My reproach.

(22:45) And how many a city did We destroy while it was committing wrong - so it is [now] fallen into ruin - and [how many] an abandoned well and [how many] a lofty palace.

(22;46) So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.

22:47 And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.

22:48 And for how many a city did I prolong enjoyment while it was committing wrong. Then I seized it, and to Me is the [final] destination.

22:49 Say, "O people, I am only to you a clear warner."

(22:50) And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - for them is forgiveness and noble provision.

(22:51) But the ones who strove against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure - those are the companions of Hellfire.

(22:52) And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

22:53 So that He may make what the Shaitan casts a trial for those in whose hearts is disease and those whose hearts are hard; and most surely the unjust are in a great opposition.

22:54
And that those who have been given the knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, so they may believe in it and their hearts may be lowly before it; and most surely Allah is the Guide of those who believe into a right path.

22:55 And those who disbelieve shall not cease to be in doubt concerning it until the hour overtakes them suddenly, or there comes on them the chastisement of a destructive day.

56. The sovereignty on that Day will be that of Allah (the one Who has no partners). He will judge between them. So those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and did righteous good deeds will be in Gardens of delight (Paradise).

57. And those who disbelieved and belied Our Verses (of this Qur'an), for them will be a humiliating torment (in Hell).

58. Those who emigrated in the Cause of Allah and after that were killed or died, surely, Allah will provide a good provision for them. And verily, it is Allah Who indeed is the Best of those who make provision.

He will surely cause them to enter an entrance with which they will be pleased, and indeed, Allah is Knowing and Forbearing.

That [is so]. And whoever responds [to injustice] with the equivalent of that with which he was harmed and then is tyrannized - Allah will surely aid him. Indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving.

That is because Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and because Allah is Hearing and Seeing.

That is because Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand.

Do you not see that Allah has sent down rain from the sky and the earth becomes green? Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted.
