Assalam Aleykum

I keep making mistakes while praying and sometimes i don't know how to Correct it. Here some of the mistakes i make time to time

1. I get lost in thoughts while praying and i find my self at the end of surah Al-Fatiha and i'm not sure if i read it all. I usually read it again but i'm not sure if thats the right way.

2. Sometimes i don't wake up for salat Fajr. while back someone told me if you miss salat Fajr, you have to wait to salat Dhuhr to pray it as i missed salat. Is that true or should i pray it as soon as i wake up?

3. wudu, i have 2 nephews who are the age of 3-5 and time to time they will piss somewhere and not tell anyone, til you have stepped on it or it gets dry and you don't know about it. So i'm not always sure if my wudu counts.

Just try to think why you are praying and if u don't know I think it still counts, pray where they don't go usually.

1. This is waswasa from shaytan and would like to make Salat hard for you, If you have reached the end on AlFatiha then you do not need the repeat.

Saying this, its Important to have khashooa in you Salat and no prayer is accepted without Alfatiha. So try and focus and if you find you mind wondering seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan and dry spit 3 time on you left.

2. If you dont wake up at the time of Fajr then pray as soon as you awake. This is proved by the example when Bilal (AS) slept and did not wake Mohammed(PBUH) for Fajr. once they awoke Mohammed (PBUH) said to go to another place cos Shaytan was in this place and they all prayed Fajr.

3. Start to educate you Nephews, especially the one who is 5, My son is 5 and completely understand the importance of Wudhu.

Urine breaks your Wudhu so you would need to retake you Wudhu. Perhaps check the area where you will walk before taking Wudhu.

Hope this helps

thank you brother Yanal and Civilsed. If i can ask one more thing, i wear a thing called veshti or dhoti and if you come from my country ma'awees. It's difficult to control it and i drop it time to time. Sometimes i drop it while in bathroom and i usually change into something else. However it doesn't touch a wet floor so i was wondering do i have to change it?>
