Curious to know what people think of the swine flu being a minor sign of judgment day...

There have been flu pandemics numerous times in the past. This was is nothing compared to 1918 or even 1968. So far anyway.

It is a nature's way for population control.. plagues and pandemics have existed as far as history has been recorded...
It is better to die of something in nature, than something man manufactured in the labs, like the weapons Israel and the U.S use on palis and Iraqis etc.. I think if they had their pick of how to go, they'd pick the flu over white phosphorous...

To die is man's lot --to be tormented and humiliated isn't...
If there is something we can do to help ease suffering or offer therapeutics then it is our religious obligation to execute it.. else if we cause the death of just one, it is as if we have murdered all of man-kind and the opposite is also in fact true as per the Quran...

and Allah swt knows best

People who suffer from swine flu need to be kept away from those that are in good health. It shows how others affect us. I think the analogy can be extended to other sickness. Sicknesses of the heart and the soul. It just goes to show we need to project our selves from those that may harm our heart and soul. Secondly, swine flue originated from eating bocan...Just goes to show the wisdom of Allah for making pigs haram. There is a lesson to be learned.
