ROME, (PIC)-- Activist in the European campaign to end the siege Sameh Habib intends to visit the European parliament in Italy at the invitation of Luisa Morgantini, the deputy speaker of the parliament, to talk about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
In a press release received by the PIC, Habib said Sunday that his visit comes in the context of the efforts to raise the issues of the Israeli blockade and aggression on Gaza in international meetings, noting that he received several invitations to visit other European countries.
The Palestinian activist added that he received an invitation to visit the Dutch parliament from one of the social party’s members and would talk at one of the universities there during the coming weeks.
Habib had held over the past two months dozens of workshops and seminars in many British cities and supported his speeches with facts and pictures about what really happened in Gaza.
