she sparkled, a diamond suspended in the opaque night
perfect in her imperfection
and her smile was like the warm sunshine of a lazy summer day
she was a rainbow of thoughts and emotions, bright and bold
a contradiction
doubtful of all things fact, sanguine of the surreal
she did not tread the ground, she floated along with the breeze
leaving in her wake a path strewn with all things delightful
butterflies and daisies, dandelions and laughter
she exhumed greatness, if just from the minute simplicities
that made her who she was, is, and will forever be;
someone who lived for all the world.
