View Full Version : My journey

Hello all brothers and sisters. My name is Darren Taylor I am 15 years old and I live in aberdeen Scotland. For a long time I have set out on a spiritual journey but never found what I was looking for. But now I have. The path of Islam is what I have been looking for. For 2 years when I was 12 I was a Jedi. I did all the training and still have that knowledge today. But I am not a Jedi now. My family are not Muslim but I am. I have only just started to walk the path. Imp still at school and that is what lead me to here in some ways. In my Standard Grade RMPS class I am doing Islam so I know quite a bit about it. But a few days ago I kept getting thoughts in my head about Allah Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and Islam. and one night I decided to do my own study. And I am here now. I look forward to talking to you all :D

Welcome to LI, darren. :welcome:

You will meet many reverts to Islam here like yourself.
Just out of interest, what kind of training did becoming a Jedi involve??

Peace :)

A lot of meditation :P well being able to feel sense and alter the force. wrighting a lot of essays and exploring other religions. Also a lot of self defence. It depends on what aspect of Jedi you look at. I trained for 2 years and if you went by titles I was a Jedi knight.

I was trained by 15 different teachers people don’t get awarded with being qualified but you know who is able to teach by how wise they are. Some people you just know who to ask for help. I asked a lot of people on there views that’s how I developed my own view.
