hey y'all im a 17 year old student, ever since starting college i've started hanging around with the wrong crowd and well in that crowd we use to do alot of bad things, i.e dance in public, flirt with guys, but those r not the major issues im asking to resolve now, the problem that im facing is that ever since hanging around with this crowd we've started watching porn together but we only watch it to make fun of it, we would laugh about it all the way through i knoee dis sounds weird but yh we do that, however ive noticed when i get home and im by myself i watch porn ON MY OWN to satify my needs after all im not married and islam does not allow any sexual acts, and now im hooked on it.:enough!: i tell myself i wnt go bak to it but the last time i watched porn was last night. someone please help me i dont knoee how to stop dis.

Start praying and also leave that bad crowd you are talking about.

Stay away from the wrong crowd because they are harmful companions - harmful in your religion and harmful in your worldly life as they will bring you no good. Masturbation is not permissible in Islam, so don't watch anything provocative, nor do anything that leads to you having provocative thoughts.

well sister think about how u would feel if you were watching alone and someone maybe your parents walked in on u watching it? would u feel ashamed? if so, then remind yourself that Allah is watching you watch this filth, this is a trap from the shaytaan, please stay away dont let him win. How are you getting access to this? are u buying dvds? or from the net? if so cut off all access, put on ur net filter then the rest of it is up to u. u have to want to stop and inshaAllah you can do it :)

Get yourself away from the net... Or if that's not possible, find something more addicting to do. Watch comedy, perhaps a hearty laugh makes one less horny? I don't know. But it's worth a try.

Namaz stops you from bad things as long as you are praying, because you do not look anywhere but the place where you do the sujood...

For some people, who are addicted to something, they may even be thinking about it during Salat.

Its called Khushu. Concentration.

If you concentrate , or meditate, it will remove your bad habbit.. by the way watching porn is an addiction,

You ahve to think beore you switch it on, what I am doing, my hand is extending, I am now typing the URL for the porn site, it will now flash on the screen, I am now watching something ahram, extremely lewd and sick

If you think about it step by step as you do it, it will make yourself stop it.

Concentration during prayer helps too, when you do your salat, think about the wrds and what they mean and the fact tat you are actually standing infront of Allah and conversing with Him.

ow could you then get off the prayer place and switch on something so distasteful your angels prob go away form you, swarmed by shayateen.

think about how you are surrounded by the shayateen and theya re going mad with happiness thinking you will join them in hell, youa re giving the enemy of Allah a victory over you, losin yourself to fire.

Unless you "concentrate" your way out of it, you may not be able to, because you woul at elast eb alone at night before bed time with yourself, there is no escaping the oppertunities.. the only way you can stop yourself is by learning that youa re adicted, it is something Haram and you will be ounished severely for it. You MUST stop it, is what you shoul tell yourself.
