View Full Version : Thobe that would fit Adam (a.s.)
Ibn Abi Ahmed

:sl:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “
Allaah created Adam sixty cubits tall, then mankind kept getting shorter until now.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3326; Muslim, 2841)
So in Saudi, they made a thobe that fits this measurement according to their calculations and here you go, a thobe that our father would wear:
:D (Got it from AlMaghrib
forums)

ya rabb al 3ibaad, brilliant...it's interesting because (if i remember correctly) the evolution theory states that as man "evolved" , we get taller, whereas islamically its the opposite---> as the generations pass we get shorter
They were like walking skyscrapers compared to us.
lol yh i wonder how big thier houses would have been :muddlehea

WHOa that would fit the thing in Cloverfield lol. But subhanallah that's amazing. It could probably get in the Arab Guinness Books for largest thobe ever made. But I do agree- a big waste of time.
You could just look at a tree or building to get an idea of how big he was.

it'll probably have been made out of cotton/polyester anyway, which are generally pretty cheap.

If they intend to keep it on display, they'll have to clean it.
