Who knows, there could be a possibility of all three occurring. The three are not mutually exclusive.

this is why the world is messed up, and why major problems are happening, and why the west is able to get away with so much. tut tut very sad.
I think it is a matter of trust. The Western government do not trust the Iranian government and dismiss any evidence that they present. It would be foolish for the Western government to expect them to be trusted, when they cannot do the same for others.

*sighs*
Oh please. Are you not over exaggerating your point? No one knows what is going on. To me people are just jumping to conclusions. How do you know that they are being lied to?
Iran lives under a dictatorial theocracy. If its citizens vie for the true democracy that is the right of all humans, they will be killed.
What about in the Western country? Anti-Semitism laws prevent people question or study the Holocaust in a different perspective. Last time I checked those people get imprisoned if they question certain aspects of the Holocaust and be labelled as a Nazi/racist.
Sounds like democracy to me.
The Iranian regime is showing the world what Islamic rule looks like. It will not accept true democracy, and it will kill its own before ceding power to the people.
This has nothing to do with the Islamic law. These are internal problems. Nothing to do with Islam.

The depends on the sources itself, whether they are biased or not.
The fact that the Iranian regime has restricted, expelled and arrested journalists tells me all I need to know, and fully justifies dismissing the proclamations of the regime as self-serving, manipulative, and entirely unrelated to the truth. The lie to their people and they lie to the world. These are dishonest and dishonorable men.
America has lied to the world too. Weapons of Mass Destruction...ring a bell?
My point is, Iran is not as bad as the media makes it out to be. All countries lie and manipulate the public. We only got one side of the story.
Back to the topic: Interesting article. I highly doubt that western government shall take this seriously.
