What makes a ring a 'male' ring and vise versa? In Islam men are only allowed to wear a silver ring and nothing else. Women can wear whatever jewelry they want.

So you see how each ring for each gender has like a specific structure and design. So since its obvious that a mans ring looks, well masculine, if its permissible to wear it or not.
