You have to pray, regardless of the dust. Just put down a prayer mat and pray the best you can inshaAllaah.

I think you should find your nearest masjid and there will be people there who can help you find a Qur'an.
In the meantime, there are many websites that have the whole of the Qur'an on display so you can read it.
Here's one. If you prefer a different style of website,
here are a few that I found with a quick search.
Peace

Asslamu Alakium.
It does not matter if you do not have a place to pray that you desire. Namaz only takes ten-fifteen minutes and it should not be much of a hassle to pray peacefully. Try to find any place to pray. It is very important to fulfil your 5 daily prayers. If you do manage to complete your daily prayers during difficult times, Allah will recognise the effort you put in.
You can get a copy from the Quran from the Masjid or from an Islamic store where they have copies of the Quran. You can also get a copy of the Quran from WHSmith or from Waterstones. Though I suggest you get it from the local masjid. It will be easier.
Hope this helps.

I suppose because I have formed the impression that a devout Muslim wouldn't travel to a foreign country without their Qu'ran and I wondered whether if this member had left under difficult circumstances.

:wa:,
if she is straight-forward and to the point while speaking to men during dealings, there's no problem inshallah.
only speaking with soft voice and flirt is not permitted.
