you can also buy these type of hijabs...it is easy to wear, you just have to put it on and no pins needed. unless you have a smaller face, then probably you have to pin it under your chin.

I know your husband should shake his money maker and buy you one for hajj insha'Allah..
this one is so pretty and I have it in black too .. for some reason all the ones I have are no longer on sale.. insha'Allah they'll get more I gave them the idea for some cloaks and I hope they go through with it..all their material is silk/linen/cotton or wool and I really appreciate it because I hate synthetics, they give me a horrible I mean horrible blistering rash wherever they come in contact with my skin

p.s I really like the Malaysian hijabs they seem really well shaded from the sun, they seem to have a built in visor or something ..

I am sad to learn that sister brook's business is liquidating.. I tried to support her business by purchasing as much as possible, I am not sure why Muslim businesses don't survive for very long.. it makes me very sad really..
she had excellent quality skirts, I got many compliments on them..

apparently he doesn't, he married an Irish gal.. It is I who really likes Asians.. always had a thing for the orient.. and pls don't take this in an offensive way as I mean it in the best possible way, but Asians have a very cattish look about them, I think it is adorable, especially when they are young and in pig tails lololol ;D;D;D;D
a Malaysian sis in law, we could have gone to the movies together, and gotten together over tea, or even went canoeing or to the book shop and to the botanical gardens, and she would have cooked me exotic foods (notice how I exempt myself from the cooking process lol).. but alas it wasn't meant to be imsad...

Most of the foreigner whom i met doesn't really prefer our way of living... they said m'sia is dirty coz they can see litters everywhere, our restaurant is dirty too coz we don't have those dish washer using hot water (and i remembered once my us friend saw a cat licking the dirty dishes...and her face changes ;DP) , and the malaysian guys smokes along offices/shoplots corridors (we don't have the proper rules of no smoking at corridor), most of the cars here only have 2.0cc
hehehe...i can go on and on and on...

I have met alot of Malaysians and in Egypt especially.. sis they are nothing like you've just described..
first thing a person notices is that they always smile, they are NEVER nosy, they are hospitable, knowledgeable and very humble.. and they don't have issues with their neighbors.
hehehe...i can go on and on and on...
I see you want to keep the Malaysian in Malaysia :p

salams... i think the most important thing is the
tudung structure (as mentioned at the website)
and usually those has a chubby face will wear those kind of awning type to make the face look smaller :D ( i'm guilty too :D). So i think its okay on your face... and the rest is the normal shawl that you can buy anywhere...however the link does sell it at a very good price.

The lady may be in a legitimate relationship with the man. It might be her brother or husband. People always put the worst connotation on what they see.

^^ it is true pls. let's not cast doubt on our brothers and sisters .. wouldn't we like to be pardoned.. I hugged my brother when he came to pick me from the airport in march, any one of his friends (whom I don't know) had he seen this in passing, could potentially think he was cheating on his wife, or that I am loosely moraled and seducing a married man... Let's not spy or cast doubt, for surely there is great sin in doing so..
and Allah swt knows best

i Swear i am not casting doubt.Alhhmdullah all of my sisters are in this forum are good muslim. But i see with my eyes i do not spy ,they are unmarried and not siblings. When i go to the beach in winter or cafe in summer , i see many couples sitting nearly next to each other kissing and hugging. So i lower my gaze ;moreover ,even at university or public place u see a woman wearing veil but she is not shy of people around her. This is the truth. I am really confused now. These women whose ages vary from 16 to .....May ALLAh protect my sisters and u from falling in suspiscion.I swear when i tell my sister to wear veil, she tells me look at these veiled woman and what evil they do.

You can't judge a community by the actions of one or two individuals. The majority of hijabis/niqabis aren't like that.

Yes you are right, here in South Africa women are not like that, they wear proper Hijab & do proper thingz, Alhamdulillah, &, by da way, what hijab are you guyz talking about, since the name of this thread is "Hijab styles", Hijab is not supposed to be stylish, it is supposed to be plain and loose fitting.
